Privacy

Sawbench is made by Score Software LLC, Malta, Montana. Effective 7 October 2026.

Sawbench has no accounts: you never give it your name or your email. Here is everything it keeps, and where.

On your device

Your projects, the prices you type in, the tools you say you own, your own starting designs and your settings are kept on your phone or computer, inside Sawbench (or inside your browser). Uninstalling the app, or clearing the browser's data for Sawbench, removes them. Save a project to a file first if you want to keep it.

Your projects on all your devices (only if you turn it on)

If you tap “Put them on all my devices”, or type in a code from another device, your projects are also stored online, in Google’s Firebase service (Cloud Firestore, in the United States), filed under your twelve-character code. Anyone who has the code can open and change those projects, so share it only with people you would hand your plans to. Sawbench keeps no name or email with them. To have the projects stored under a code deleted, email us the code.

Error reports

When something goes wrong in Sawbench, it sends a short report so the fault can be fixed: the error message, where in Sawbench it happened, the version, whether it was the phone app or a browser, the kind of device and browser, and the time. Reports never include your projects or anything that identifies you, and nobody outside Score Software can read them. They are stored in Firebase.

The website

Sawbench’s website is served by Google’s Firebase Hosting, which, like any web server, records the internet address of devices that visit, as described in Google’s own privacy policy. Sawbench uses no advertising and no tracking cookies.

Payments

If you buy Sawbench Pro in the phone app, Google Play handles the payment. Score Software never sees your card or bank details; Google tells Sawbench only that the purchase was made.

What we never do

Children

Sawbench is meant for adults who use woodworking tools. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.

Changes and questions

If this changes, the new version goes on this page with its date. Questions, or a request to delete what is stored under your code: scoreparker@yahoo.com.
